Description: Presenting a stunning rare to find designer Madeleine Herling omega clip back pair of created emerald and diamond earrings. The earrings measure at the longest point 3cm W x 3cm L and both are prong set and have the original velvet box. The earrings look like fine jewellery and in very good condition, there's no damage to the stones.
The earrings are marked 925 with an infinity symbol and a diamond which appears to have the initials CM inside. This is the mark of the 'Countess Madeleine' line of jewelry created by Madeleine Herling, owner of the Jolie Gabor jewelry store and the Countess Madeleine Galleries in New York City during the 1980s until her death in 1995.
The earrings were manufactured by a company located in NYC called Fantasia, who continued to manufacture for Jolie Gabor the mother to the glamorous Gabor sisters after it was sold to the Herlings per Jean Forman a sales associate at the store right after Madeleine bought the Gabor store.
