KJL Panther Set necklace, earrings and bracelet

Item Vin 107 Description Rare and Collectable Vintage Signed K.J.L. for Avon Exotic Parure - Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings Highly sought after Signed K.J.L. for Avon Exotic Parure featuring Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings. This is KJL at his very best. The Necklace consists of grey faux pearls, a screw closing clasp and the centre piece is a head of a panther. The panther has grey marble enamelling with green cabochons and pave set diamente over the nose. There are also further diamentes surrounding one pearl in from the panthers head. The necklace measures a generous 19 inches. The bracelet repeats the enamelling and has diamentes on the end of the opening, it is a spiral spring opening for easy fitting around the wrist, we have a small and large bracelet size to go with this set. The clip earrings also have the same grey enamel with one green cabochon in each earring and further diamentes. And measure 1 inch x 1 inch. The perfect designer set and very rare to see now. All items are marked K.J.L for Avon. This lovely set will arrive in a nice presentation box
We have come across an aticle on this item and it states - Kenneth J Lane's (KJL) he designed this parure at the request of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. There was more than one copy made by KJL, however only limited pieces were made and this is one of the very scarce parures. She wanted the replica necklace for traveling as the original made by Van Cleef and Arpels was quite priceless. It was given to her by Aristotle Onassis as a wedding present.
