Item Vin619 Description:  WBs Stag Head and Curling Broom Sterling Brooch- Signed and matching signed screw back earrings. An unusual sterling silver brooch of a curling broom and a stag's head with a prong set faux Cairngorm stone. The brooch is 2 inches long by by just under an inch wide with a safety 'C' catch pin and is marked on the back 'WBs Sterling Silver' and 'R'. This was the mark of Ward Brothers who were well known for their Scottish jewellery and were in business in Glasgow from around 1948 to 1956. This lovely old silver brooch is in excellent condition and would appeal to someone who is involved with curling. Found matching screw back earrings 14 December 2008
