Item Vin618 Description: Scandinavian Modern sterling silver boomerang brooch designed by Eigel Jensen for A. (Anton) Michelsen silversmith and Crown Jeweller to the Royal Court of Denmark. Eigel Jensen trained with Hans Hanson silversmith and also designed for Georg Jensen. The sleek boomerang brooch is 4 inches long and 0.5 inch in the middle with a safety 'C' catch pin and is marked on the back 'AM' with the crown above, 'Sterling Denmark' and the conjoined initials 'EJ' for Eigel Jensen. The matching earrings for this brooch can be seen on Page 237 of Warman's Jewelry 3rd Edition by Christie Romero. There are two very tiny nicks near the end of the short side of the brooch which can only be seen with a jeweller's loupe otherwise the brooch is in very good condition and dates c. 1950
