This is such a delicate and sweet parure. The Design is know as Empress Eugenie and was designed by Alfred Philippe for Trifari. Patented in the year1949 see below for patent details. The Necklace features 3 gorgeous faceted topaz rhinestones with pave clear rhinestones set on a lovely ornate goldtone design, it measures 16 inches in length. The matching key brooch consists of 4 facted topaz stones rhinestones with a touch of black enamel to bring out the gorgeous features of the key along with clear sparkling rhinestones to accentuate the design further., the brooch measures a generous 2.5 inches long. The matching screwback earrings are set with 1 topaz rhinestone with the same design of black enamel and clear rhinestones as the key brooch, they measure .75 inches. The earrings are a book piece and can be seen in Gems of Costume Jewelry by Greindi on the earrings page. A wonderful addition to your Trifari collection and very collectable. All 4 pieces are signed with Pat pend.
