Vin 536 Description ...Vintage Signed D'Orlan Rhinestone and Enamel Bird of Paradise Brooch. This is a fabulous bird of paradise brooch by D'Orlan, the Canadian company started around 1960 by Sandra Boucher wife of Marcel Boucher. The head and body are pave set with clear rhinestones with a red rhinestone eye and a gold tone beak. The wings and tail feathers are beautiful green and blue enamel interspaced with clear rhinestones and outlined in gold tone metal. D'Orlan and the copyright C are marked on the reverse. The brooch measures approx. 2.75 inches long by 0.75 inches wide with a safety catch. The enamelling has an iridescent sheen to it and the brooch is in excellent condition.
