What a night! no I will re-phrase that! what a couple of days! Sorry about the darkness of the video, we had to keep a low light on for comfort and to keep the moment of birth calm and peaceful.
Tiffany started having contractions 1.00am on Sunday Morning 7th December 2008. Nearly 24 hours later her first Puppy arrived at 11.00pm and then had more puppies through to the early hours of 8th December, last one was born at 2.40am.
She has 9 Gorgeous, beautiful Puppies, all healthy and doing well! Tiffany was extremely brave, she was so nervous to begin with (not surprising, first time mum!), her teeth were chattering and her body was shivering, probably through excitement, bless her, with lots of love and assurance all went well she did what came naturally and delivered her puppies safely with her maternal instincts.
We are all very proud of her. Oh in this video we thought she was finished with 6 puppies, however, a few hours later 2 more decided to arrive! and then another arrived approx 6 hours later! Enjoy the Video's. All the puppies are black and white. More video's to upload soon :) on progress, she had 4 boys and 5 girls.
I bet she feels lighter now LOL and can't wait to run around the garden with her friend Sid. Sid was brilliant, this is our other springer he stayed out of the way and has'nt seen the puppies yet, he was not left out, we kept taking it in turns to give him love also and assure him Tiffany is doing well. Bless them both :)
