How to sell through our website
Sending your items to us to sell on your behalf
The first thing to do is send us an email using our secure contact form > > > Contact us please put in the message box - I want to sell my item and a brief on what item/s you want to sell. When we receive your enquiry we will send an email by return to request you read and sign our Sales Agency Agreement to be your acting agent.
When your item/s have been received we will contact you to say the package has arrived.
We will proceed to take photographs of your item, do the description and agree a price for the item you want to sell. The total cost for the item will include postage and packaging as this will be a fully inclusive transaction for the buyer, this will be agreed before listing the item.
We will then do a full feature webpage for your item and send you the link to view it. See an example here An example to show how we list your item.
When your item has sold there will be a seller fee for our commission, method of payment, marketing and advertising on the website at a fixed rate of 15.00%
We will invoice and send your item to the buyer via Royal Mail signed for delivery service both for National and International buyers for safe arrival.
A copy of the invoice will be sent to you the seller and will include all information regarding the whole transaction.
We will send your money for the sold item after the 7 day customer satisfaction guarantee, after this time limit we will pay you by your chosen method of payment.

Listing your items in our private sellers shopping area is open to all dealers and private sellers in the United Kingdom, however, we can accept International clients at our own discretion. All items for sale are available to buyers Worldwide. Please understand we are acting as your sales agent selling your item on your behalf in good faith a seller must agree to our Sales Agency Agreement to be signed through post or confirmed and agreed through email.
Once your item has sold, you and us have the responsibilty thereafter to ensure the customer is happy with their purchase. If there is a dispute, although very rare arising from the transaction ie customer not happy with item, faulty goods, etc, the customer has the right to a 7 day no risk guarantee to ensure they are happy with their purchase. If the customer is not completely satisfied with their purchase they have every right to ask for a full refund excluding shipping costs or to offer an alternative product.
Once the 7 day deadline is complete we will proceed to pay you the seller on the agreed chosen method of payment arranged before we list your items. Our preferred method of payment to sellers is via Paypal, Bank Credit Transfer or by cheque (UK).
Sending items to us Please send your item/s securely packed, ideally wrap items in bubble wrap for protection and a padded envelope and send via a recorded signed delivery service, this will ensure safe arrival.
We currently have 50 area's around the internet. House of Francheska is advertised in the BT directory, Yellow Pages and yell.com. We have an advertisment in the Antiques, Collectables & Memorabilia Specialist Directory Magazine. We use social media networking and use our other websites to advertise and also use online shopping directories
More on paying you the seller when your item has sold and payment for our commission
Sellers - We will agree with you before listing your item/s how you want to be paid. For the UK and for International we can pay the seller via Paypal and Bank Credit Transfer. Other alternatives for the UK only we can pay via Cheque, Bank Giro Credit, Postal Order or Cash. Cash is always sent via a recorded signed service for safe arrival.
Commission fee to H.O.F your acting agent. There is a final sale commission fee fixed at 15% on all items sold. We will deduct our commission from the value of the item sold. Our commission fee includes the fee for selling your item and for the payment transaction fees and for using our shopping cart, advertising and promoting, social media networking, plus the work carried out to list your item.
We are sure you will agree we want happy people and a smooth transaction with all parties involved, this protects both the seller and buyer and of course us as your acting agent.
BIG BULKY ITEMS If you are selling a big bulky item ie furniture we recommend you do not send to us for selling as costs will be too expensive, we suggest you keep the item with you and take clear photographs, do a full description of the item and send the details to us for listing on the website. Shipping the item to the buyer will be done by you the seller. We will give full instructions if this is the case.
