Canada In Winter
Here are some photos of our winter carnival that we have every year in the
village. This was taken a couple of years ago when over 400 people were on
the ice doing the 'chicken dance' to try and get into the Guinness Book of
Records! The other is of our driveway being cleared last winter!

The frozen lake is actually the mighty St
Lawrence River and the land in the background is an island in the middle of
the river! When you see the river in the summer for the first time and you
are told it will freeze over in the winter you just don't believe
it....that's what I was like when I arrived here over twenty years ago
